Thank you SeneGence for opening your hearts to the kids at Pasitos de Luz
On September 8th 2023 we started a journey with a beautiful organization that is all about making women look and feel great: SeneGence, a world leader in skincare and cosmetics.
Joni Rogers-Kante, founder of SeneGence, was determined that their September incentive trip to Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, left a legacy of social impact. Joni was a single mom when she founded her company in 1999, which meant that our mission, to help single moms and low-income families struggling with raising children with special needs, particularly resonated. Coincidentally, Pasitos de Luz was also founded in 1999!
The SeneGence team invited five Pasitos moms and kids to join them for a special morning of giving back. They donated 76 backpacks, each full to the brim with school supplies that will help to directly benefit our kids’ learning in the classrooms at Casa Connor. Special Education is one of our core services and so we are hugely grateful for this kind gift.
There was even a special surprise for the 5 moms who spoke at the event, each receiving a make-up kit containing hand-picked beauty products courtesy of SeneGence, a world leader in beauty.
We had the opportunity to meet other members of the Executive Team, including Melanie Bradshaw and Kirsten Aguilar, who have committed to providing ongoing support to the children of Pasitos de Luz. Thank you SeneGence!
