Other Volunteer Opportunities and Groups!

Pasitos de Luz has a very busy schedule and limited funds. Volunteers are key to our success and our sustainability.

We currently have a small group who assist us with tours of our facility, bringing in-kind donations and translating for international visitors.

There is also a progam with some international groups who send us small numbers of trained individuals for short stays in the Puerto Vallarta area and give their time willingly to Pasitos de Luz and our special needs kids.

However, we always welcome extra pairs of hands, whether to help at meal times or to assist in games and
activities. You will be given a tour of Casa Connor, will be introduced to our staff and children, and we will find you an area in which you can help out. Please get in touch.

See what one of our volunteers had to say:

“Pasitos de Luz was an awakening for me. Ivolunteered at Pasitos during the summer of 2017. It expanded my whole way of thinking completely. Each kid at Pasitos has their own story, and finding that out is the best feeling in the world; knowing that you can help them and make their lives better. It’s truly magical. Because of that summer, I’ve made it a goal to return as much as possible; not to make a good impression, nor to boost
my own sense of accomplishment. I return because I cannot stay away. The people at Pasitos are family and the kids are like an extended part of me. Since then, I consider myself more humbled, more compassionate and more aware of the world around me. Pasitos de Luz changed me, and I could picture who I would be
without that change. Thank you. ”
