Other Activities and Volunteer Groups

Pasitos de Luz has a very busy schedule and limited funds. Volunteers are key to our success and sustainability.

We love welcoming groups who want to volunteer and make a difference. Whether you are a family group, a religious group, a youth group, or a company looking to leave a positive impact during your stay in Mexico, please contact us.

We always appreciate help from others, whether it’s assisting with meals, games and activities with the children, or projects like painting and planting. We’ll give you a tour of Casa Connor, introduce you to our staff and the children, and find you a spot where you can volunteer. We look forward to hearing from you!

See what one of our volunteers had to say:

“Pasitos de Luz was a revelation for me. I volunteered at Pasitos during the summer of 2017. It completely broadened my perspective. Every child at Pasitos has their own story, and discovering it is the best feeling in the world—knowing that you can help them and improve their lives. It’s truly magical. Thanks to that summer, I’ve made it my goal to return as often as possible, not to impress anyone or boost my own sense of accomplishment. I return because I can’t stay away. The people at Pasitos are like family, and the children are like a part of me. Since then, I feel more humble, more compassionate, and more aware of the world around me. Pasitos de Luz changed me, and I couldn’t imagine who I would be without that change. Thank you.”
