Norma Joya Pasitos de Luz: A Story of Love and Resilience

From the very beginning of Pasitos de Luz, Norma Joya has been a fundamental part of this great family. She arrived as a mother seeking support for her son with cerebral palsy, without imagining that she would also find a life purpose.

Her greatest wish was to see her son receive the rehabilitation he needed, and through that process, she discovered she was not alone. Like many other mothers, she began helping in any way she could so that this project could continue to grow.

Over time, Norma joined the kitchen team without any prior experience. She was guided by the founder, who taught her with patience and care. Today, together with her team, she prepares meals that not only nourish, but also energize every child.

For her, cooking is a way of caring. Every dish represents love, dedication, and well-being for everyone who is part of Pasitos.

Pasitos de Luz became her home. Her son lived for 21 years surrounded by care and love, achieving progress that transformed his quality of life.

Although her son passed away in 2018, Norma chose to stay. His memory remains present in her heart and in everything she does.

Today, she continues to give her best every day, finding in this place a family, a purpose, and a way to keep helping other children. Her story is a reflection of dedication, love, and resilience.
