Illumination III: Dinner, Show and Floral Art Project @ Shangri-la, Marina Vallarta
We have some exciting changes to announce for our third annual Illumination event, with all proceeds going to help Pasitos de Luz children. Once again, you can enjoy great food, a fantastic sunset, first class entertainment, and an amazing Floral Art Project that is sure to catch your attention!
When? Join us on Friday December 6, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Where? At our new venue Shangri-La located at the Marina.
Once again Dinner will feature Guillermo (Memo) Wulff from the renowned restaurant Barrio Bistro as the lead chef. Memo will be collaborating with other highly acclaimed chefs from Tintoque and De Cántaro to bring you the taste sensations they excel at!
The Show will feature world-class talent who will illuminate the evening! This year we are partnering with Act II Entertainment and you will have the opportunity to see and hear 3 amazing diva talents Brenda Gaviño , Daniela Treviño and Diana Villamonte. From Act II entertainment:
Brenda Gaviño is an accomplished musician as a classically-trained pianist and singer who can sing any type of genre, from pop, rock, folk, to opera! She is a former singer and performer at Rhythms of the Night, Cirque du Soleil and stars in the Act II tribute show, Linda Ronstadt “The Sound of My Voice”. Do you remember these songs? Blue Bayou…You are No Good… Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me… Just One Look… Alison… Heatwave… It is So Easy?!?
“Showgirl,” Daniela Treviño sings like an angel and dances like a pro! Having worked with the founder of Cirque du Soleil, and starred as the lead singer in “Savia” (the current show at Rhythms of the Night), she is known to delight the audience with songs made famous by the women of Las Vegas – Beyonce, Celine, Jennifer Lopez, Charo, Gloria Estafan, Mariah, Cher and more.
Diana Villamonte, TV Star, “The Voice of Mexico” Runner-Up, and the #1 Performer in Puerto Vallarta,, returns for her THIRD amazing season with a brand new show, “Beyond Motown!” Diana has proven that she can do it all…. Motown, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Motown and Beyond. This season she is starring in “Beyond Motown!” featuring songs by The Supremes, Michael Jackson, Queen, The Temptations, Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys, and MANY more.
Floral Art Project
We also have an original special Floral Art Project that we hope will capture your imagination and your hearts! We are so blessed to feature the work of Kathleen Carrillo who is donating ten large 5 feet x 5 feet (150 x 150 cm) original paintings to Pasitos de Luz to hang on the Casa Connor walls. We will be selling beautiful acrylic copies of these paintings in sizes of 36 x 36 inches, 24 x 24 inches or 16 x 16 inches. These acrylic copies will be available for a limited time only and can be purchased individually or by full sets of the ten florals. We are thrilled to say the creation of the paintings will also involve the Pasitos de Luz children.
Credit cards will be accepted for purchase of the Floral Art.

Join us at Shangri La December 6th to support the Pasitos community of light! There will be a complimentary welcome drink and select beverages for purchase from a cash bar. Credit cards will be accepted for purchase of the Floral Art. Parking is limited so please consider taking a taxi or ride share.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Pasitos de Luz children at Casa Connor! Our mission is to enhance the quality and create lasting change in the lives of children with disabilities in Banderas Bay. Pasitos is a registered non-profit charity that provides a lifeline for more than 130 families. The children we serve largely come from impoverished families and suffer from acute physical and/or psychological illnesses. We offer a large range of services free of charge including physical therapy, psychological care, nutrition and wellness, education programs and so much more! You can become a part of this by supporting our events.
