About Us

Pasitos de Luz is housed at Casa Connor. We are a non-profit charity that provides care for children with disabilities from low income families. We are a lifeline for approximately 130 families, with a goal of reaching up to 200 families. Each day we see approximately 70 children. The children who come to Casa Connor suffer from acute physical and/or psychological illnesses. We offer a large range of services FREE OF CHARGE, including physical therapy, psychological care, nutrition and wellness, education programs and so much more!

Our Mission, Vision & Values

Our mission is to support single moms or families with low resources who have a child with a disability in Banderas Bay, Mexico, free of charge, offering them, with much love and happiness, different types of services and a daycare center that helps their children enjoy life.

Our vision is to be the leading institution for children with disabilities in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding region, through our achievements in physical rehabilitation, physical education and speech therapy, which distinguishes us from others; and to offer transport, recreational spaces and learning and development workshops for the families of our children.

Pasitos Pendants for Monthly Donors

We would like to say a small ‘thank you’ or ‘gracias’ to new donors to our priority Love Pasitos Monthly campaign by offering a beautiful Pasitos pendant.

Our pendants have been specially designed and produced in Puerto Vallarta using Mexican silver. For over five centuries, Mexico has been renowned for the quality of its silver and is the biggest silver producer in the world. Therefore, we thought it appropriate to offer Mexican silver pendants to new donors to our Love Pasitos Monthly campaign.

Pasitos de Luz is pleased to announce that 2018 was another banner year for therapy! We are proud of the many achievements of our kids through the year and the partnerships we have gained and maintained, all helping to provide resources to help us meet our mission.

The overall number of physical therapy, early stimulation, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy sessions increased from 5,157 sessions in 2015 to 6,373 sessions in 2016 to 8,965 in 2017. In 2018, these same therapies plus the Temazcal, music and dancing sessions totalled 9,045.

We see daily, weekly and monthly improvements in our children as they engage in therapy, educational programs, nutritional programs and recreation.
